Chairman

Universally known as ‘Mr Yorkshire’, Keith has been THE key business facilitator and advocate for Yorkshire-based enterprises for many years. A former Chairman of the Yorkshire Society, Keith specialises in bringing businesses together for the common good. Awarded an MBE by Her Majesty for his contribution to business and to the diverse communities of Yorkshire, Keith has also been awarded an Honorary Fellowship by Leeds Trinity University and is now a Visiting Fellow at Leeds Beckett University.

Additionally, Keith has been appointed as Honorary Canon of Ripon Cathedral in recognition of his immense contribution to education and business.  Keith remains a key business conduit in the region and beyond. His business and cultural knowledge and understanding are huge assets to Verity Housing.

Frank Boyle QGM

National POS Director

Frank has more than 35 years' experience in devising and delivering all aspects of grounds maintenance projects. He is a fully qualified Training Officer, including health and safety, first aid and driving.

​

He is a retired Major that was in active service with The Parachute Regiment in Iraq, has been an Army Reservist for over 40 years and was responsible for all logistical support to a Parachute Regiment Battalion. Frank was awarded The Queen's Gallantry Medal for Bravery.

Les Ratcliffe MBE TD DL

Director (Midlands Division)

After serving for five years in the Regular Army with 1st Battalion The Parachute Regiment, Les joined Jaguar Land Rover and began a career-long relationship with the Company. He also continued his service with the Army Reserve, reaching the rank of Major. Les served primarily with 4th Battalion The Parachute Regiment. At Jaguar Land Rover, Les ultimately became Global Head of Community Relations and was responsible for developing and delivering a Global Community Relations Strategy.

​

Les pioneered a model for early Service leavers at JLR – ‘The Inspiring Tomorrow’s Workforce (Military)’ – which was regarded as a breakthrough programme by the Royal Foundation, run by Princes William and Harry. He was also instrumental in developing and delivering the JLR Corporate Covenant, resulting in JLR being awarded the GOLD Award for the Corporate Covenant. For his commitment to business and education in the communities of the West Midlands, Les was honoured with the MBE in 2017. The following year he was appointed as a Deputy Lieutenant.

 

Outside of business, Les continues to work tirelessly for the benefit of the people, sitting on the Boards of numerous charitable and public organisations. He has also recently been appointed as an Elder of the Parachute Regimental Council, where he continues to serve the needs of Veterans and Serving Soldiers.

Stephen Boardman

CEO

Stephen has extensive experience both in the Military and in Commerce, having held senior posts in a number of countries around the world. Working in business and within the Establishment, he was appointed as a Deputy Lieutenant for West Yorkshire in 2014. He is a Chartered Manager, a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management. He is also an alumnus of the prestigious University of Cambridge Judge Business School.

Stephen’s Military career saw him serve on Operational Tours in Iraq and on three occasions in Afghanistan with The Parachute Regiment. For his efforts during the summer of 2008, he was honoured with the award of an MBE.  He currently holds the rank of full Colonel and until recently was Commandant, Merseyside Army Cadet Force.

Director (Southern Division)

Craig has over 30 years’ experience in delivering highly quality, time sensitive projects in a number of challenging environments around the world. Following a five-year apprenticeship in a manufacturing business, Craig pushed on and attained a First Class Honours Degree from Brunel University. He also holds a number of Project and Programme Management qualifications.

 

On completing his Degree, he spent many years devising, organising and implementing innovative business solutions. Amongst Craig’s numerous significant achievements is his role as Project Manager within Royal Court Affairs for the Sultan of Oman, which entailed responsibility for Royal Estates across Oman and Europe, delivering highly complex results on time and to His Majesty’s expectations.

 

Craig is passionate about delivering change and continuous improvement through leadership, negotiation, education and deep cultural understanding, whether it be in business, the military, or within The Establishment. Since 1996, Craig has been an Army Reserve Officer and his service includes Operational deployment to Afghanistan with The Parachute Regiment, where his duties required him to interact with many senior Governance figures and to formulate a 2-year continuity stabilisation plan. Craig currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

Andrew Wilkinson

Operations & Construction Director

Andrew has over 30 years' experience in the construction industry, specialising in Off-Site Manufacturing (OSM) and Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), within residential, leisure, retail and refurbishment environments.

​

He has extensive experience of delivering high quality developments in the UK, as well as Cyprus, Sweden and Oman.

​

Andrew has significant expertise, supporting clients with bespoke, innovative solutions including design, pre-development and delivery, as well as negotiation with investors and funders.
